Paul and Joe

Since I first saw the Kitten Collection, I've been a bit nuts for Paul and Joe cosmetics...they're hard to find over here, so thank God for the internet! This post shares the whole collection and I had to borrow a few photos because they're such eye candy.

The other thing I really like about the cosmetics line is that the packaging is so retro and 50s. Sweet!

Nanna house

As I'm still yearning for a house in the country, I like to peruse the real estate sites. Every so often you come across a house that's still as Nanna left it. I couldn't buy this one, but saved some of the images for posterity:

I can't even remember where it was now...

Hello 60s lounge suite!

Hello deco-ish bits and bobs.

Ah! The lino!

Ah! The kitchen cupboard!

Serenity now!!

Seat for me to sit and watch the world go by.

Eye Candy

Found this pic via FB this morning. I know the gorgeous girl is supposed to be the lust object, but that loungeroom is making me all hot and bothered (ha).

Girl+cat+records

Nothing much to say other than I find this pic tremendously appealing. What a hep cat. (Yes I know I've got the wrong decade.)

I like this

Alice in Wonderland, originally uploaded by Olly Moss.

Mmmm poster goodness. I'm not getting amped up about Alice in Wonderland or anything (although I do want to see the film) but this poster is most excellent! (As Bill and Ted would say.)

We all want one!

, originally uploaded by mitsib.

...a vintage caravan that is...childhood memories...camping...cuteness on wheels...etc...etc...

And even better?

Vintage vanning, originally uploaded by highplains68.

Your vintage van towed by an FJ Holden. Hurrah!

Of course, I know you want to see the inside of the first van:

And check out this one:

Hubert, I think we better make room for a van in the backyard of house-to-be...okay?

Eye Candy

Oh I'm not going to buy this one from e-bay, but I couldn't resist "borrowing" a pic, because it is rather yummy after all.

Glum

Is definitely how I'm feeling today...maybe it's the dreaded hormones, maybe I'm tired, maybe it's the fact that I've done something to my knee and the pain is irking me considerably, but all in all I'm fighting off tears right now. Thankfully the phone hasn't rung for a bit, so I can sit here in solitude and sulk...you know when your perspective gets skewed and the bad seems to outweigh the good? That's me today. I am sure this will pass, but I have to get through work, when I'd much rather be asleep in bed. You know you're a bit out there when you talk to someone for five minutes on the phone, tell them you'll sort out their problem, hang up and then say "Who was that?" realising you forgot to get their name. Sigh.

So in the interests of cheerfulness, I'm going to borrow this pic from the lovely Dottie Angel, as it makes me smile every time I look at it. Thank you.
